This was one of the first published articles to argue that provincial legislation is needed to address a gap in privacy protection that still creates uncertainty for employers and leaves many employees vulnerable.
I argued that the only tenable solution is for each province to enact laws that address privacy in the employment context, using recently enacted federal legislation as a template.
